CoLearnCo’s journey began with a challenge faced by its parent organization, Cottonwood Community. As a pioneering microschool committed to personalized, passion-based learning, Cottonwood found itself constrained by the limits of a small staff and limited resources. They knew something had to change.

Fueled by the vision to connect schools in an interactive way students love, Cottonwood developed the CoLearnCo virtual campus with Casco Learning in St. Louis to bring students and teachers together. We believe there is a way to build online spaces for students that offer real, thriving connections that are, ultimately, more sustainable.
